I have been watching
Johnny Benson's career for many years. He has always
been a class act from day one. Why any team owner would
let go the BEST pure driver in the Nextel cup garage is
beyond stupid. Johnny Benson's name to my recollection
is never mentioned in connection with any of the silly
squabbles that go on in that afformentioned racing
series, I know he gives time to charitable
organizations, and is an all around picture of what a
role model is supposed to be. To hastily remove
this man from a team that is just really getting started
is foolish and uncalled for. Just my opinion.
John Heard, Porterville CA.
Hello Johnny,
My name is Loy Nash from
Charlotte, MI. Just a quick note to tell you that I
think you are a "Class Act", I was at the May 15, 2004
race at Berlin, anyone who can come from 32place to 4th
place and do it the way you did (saving your car,
not bumping other cars out of the, allowing two guys #11
and #47 to slug it out for about thirty laps making it
impossible for you to get around ) and keeping your cool
all the time is an outstanding example of sportsmanship
and an excellent roll model for all of those young boys
and girls in the stands last night.
You have impressed me to the
point that I became a JBFC member this year, this is the
first time I've ever done anything like that for anyone.
I would like to thank you for your part in the ownership
of Berlin raceway, track appearance in outstanding, all
events are run in a timely and efficient manner, all
concessions are of the best quality in the state of
Michigan.
We pray for you and your
family, things have not been what they might have been
in the past several seasons. But never give up, get up
everyday thinking that this is going to be the best day
of my life, and your dreams will be answered in a way
beyond your wildest expectations. Remember "Class
Acts" don't just happen they are made by people just
like you. May God bless you and yours,
Loy Nash
As a fellow Michigander I
just wanted to let you know how much my wife and I are
going to look forward to your return to Nextel Cup
racing.
We know it will happen!
Drivers with your qualities, honesty, and dedication are
to valuable to leave sidelined for long. You would be an
asset to any raceteam with a sponsor that is family
orientated and has a commitment to American values.
Keep your head high a realize that you are among the
best of the best.
Tim & Lavila Edick
Just wanted to let you know
that we are all hanging on and look forward to
seeing you on the track again real soon! Best of luck
JB.

Just want to wish Johnny
the best. We love watching him on Monday nights and feel
that he's such a great role model for Nascar. We know
he'll get a good ride and keep on racing! He's such a
classy guy. All the best. Looking forward to seeing him
on Monday night.
