Mr. Stewart "Stew" Bradley
Mr. Stewart "Stew" Bradley,
aged 75, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with his Lord and
Savior on Monday, December 15, 2003.
Stew proudly served his country
in the U.S. Navy following World War II. He met his
wife, the former Jacqueline Flora, when she was 12 and he
was 17. He was sure he was going to marry her one day
and on October 13,1949, he did.
In 1951, he accepted Christ as
his Savior and in recent years he and Jackie have attended
Calvary Church. Not only did Stew love the Lord, but
also his family. Stew was an avid reader of history
and enjoyed watching the history channel.
Besides his wife, he is survived
by his children, James S. and Abigail Bradley and Howard C.
and Renae Bradley, all of Grand Rapids, his grandchildren,
Jayme L and Thomas Holt, and Nicole M. Bradley; great
grandchildren, Samantha, Ethan and Nicholas Holt, who was
born on Monday, December 15, 2003. "The Lord giveth
and the Lord taketh away; Blessed be the name of the Lord."
Stew is also survived
by his brother Butch and Karen Silva of Oxford, FL. In
laws, Alma Flora, Shirley and Donald Buzalski of Pierson and
Judy and John Benson of Grand Rapids; nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his daughter, Bonnie Sue in 1951.
The service of Praise
and Thanksgiving to God for the salvation provided through
Jesus Christ for Stew will be Friday morning at 11:00 am at
Calvary Church Chapel, with Pastor Josh Mateer officiating.
Interment in Fairplains Cemetery.

49503. Relatives and friends may celebrate Stew's life with
his family from 7 to 9 pm Wednesday and 2 t0 4 and 7 to 9 pm
on Thursday at the funeral home. |
