Benson Fan Page - Photos from 2005 - 2007

Tyler Conklin of
Jacksonville, FL
finally got to meet
his 2nd cousin - Johnny!

Special thanks to Lisa Ronan of Florida who sent in pictures to show us that her office decorates in a racing theme.  It appears that Johnny has made a guest appearance!

Collecting Johnny Benson diecast and other memorabilia can be a serious hobby as is such the case for JB fan, Doug Dubois of Michigan.  Doug has been a strong supporter of Johnny throughout his racing career.

Johnny Benson Fans show their support of their favorite driver and team in unique ways.  The neighbors of Scott Thomas of Michigan know exactly who he is cheering for when he recently painted the #23 number on his shed.  Thanks for your support - Scott!  (09-03-06)

The Craftsman Truck race at MIS in June will be a race that Johnny Benson fans will not forget!  Thanks to the Rehkopf family for sharing their photos.   (09-03-06)

The best thing a driver can have is fan support.   Johnny poses with his fans at the fence at the  Oreilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis.   Special
thanks to photographer, Phil Cavali for taking the photo!    (08-06-06)

Gordon Raymond and Herb Merlington show their support for Johnny.  They were lucky to see his CUP and Truck Wins!  (07-14-06)

Julie, Barb and Karrie were happy to get a photo of their favorite driver at the JBFC fan event.  (07-02-06)

The JBFC salutes the Johnny Benson Fans who met up at the Toyota Souvenir trailer at Dover International Speedway.  More information on exactly who this fans are in the photo!

L to R:  Sabrina and Josh Patterson - PA
Nancy - DE, Bob - WI, Bonnie and Lane - PA
and Sandi - DE

Megan Buffum and her friend look forward to Johnny return to Berlin Raceway.  They were nice enough to pose for a photo at Berlin in April.   (06-11-06)

Chris and Julie Roth of St. Louis along with their friends pose for a photo with Johnny at Gateway ...  (05-29-06)

Larry Niece of Michigan was the lucky winner of Johnny's #10 Late Model hood.   (05-14-06)

What do you do with all your old Johnny B
t-shirts?  One idea is to take the old shirts and make a quilt .....  That's just what Sandi Beideman of Deleware did!
(05-06-06)

This picture is of me (Lisa Sekeet), my son Trevor Sekeet, and two people (who have NEVER been to a race and absolutely loved it), my son's best buddy Lewi Coleman Jr., and our adopted daughter we have been fostering since last July, Quinitta Herring.  They both plan on coming back to Berlin and definately have become Johnny fans.  My oldest son Russell took the picture along with a whole memory stick more!  Thanks again for making our Saturday night GREAT!

Cliff Calton entertains the JB with his daily wit messages on the JBFC Message Board.

He was lucky enough to get garage passes for the Martinsville race.  Here is a photo of his daughter Elizabeth and Johnny before the race

Meredith Fischer went to Atlanta to cheer Johnny on in the Craftsman Truck Race.  She got to see an exciting finish with the green - white - checkered ending.

Chuck Clemence sent in a picture of himself and his collection of Johnny B diecast .....  He wanted to let other JB fans know  .... Isn't it surprising what you can do with a Mike Skinner diecast, some jbfc stickers, black electrical tape and an x-acto knife?

Wayne Hegerty is originally from Grand Rapids, MI and currently lives in Montgomery, AL . . . . .    This is a photo of Wayne with his Johnny Benson autographed "first win t-shirt" that Johnny signed for him  at Homestead.  It's the centerpiece on the wall in Wayne's NASCAR room.

The Barkel family (Duke, Drew and Zac)  made it family day at MIS in August.  They were lucky to stop by Johnny's pit stall to snap this picture.
Thank you for sharing your photo!

One way to take a family vacation
is to head to the race track.  Glenda Royster and family did just that during the Atlanta weekend.

JDoug Dubois is a frequent photo contributor for the JBFC.  Now we caught him on the other side of the camera thanks to Aunt Carol.  This photo was taken on pit lane at Mansfield Motor Speedway.

Jackie Bradley, Judy Benson and Jim and Barb Kurtz tour pit road before the MIS Craftsman Truck race in June.

This was Aunt Jackie's first Truck race.  They took a golf cart through the infield to get to the garage area.  Aunt Jackie informed Johnny that there were probably some fans in the infield that would not even watch his race!

Chuck Haney went to Daytona USA and decided to dress appropriately for the occasion.   Nice first time photography
from my 7 year old  son Charlie

Megan Buffum went to IRP with her dad Paul and the rest of her family  to cheer Johnny on.

Megan was the lucky member who won one of Johnny's leather jackets at the fan club event.

JB Fan "Jen" celebrated her 25th birthday with her parents at IRP to watch Johnny race his truck.  They ran into several JB fans during the night.  This is a photo Jane (another JB fan, Jen and Steve.  Hope you enjoyed your birthday!

There were a lot JB fans in attendance in IRP.   I stopped these two fans to snap their photo.

Thanks to Jan Florence of Michigan and Jason Weigerber of Ohio for being such good fans and letting me  take their photo!

Jamie Madaj and Tammy Ferguson made the trip to Kentucky Speedway.  They were lucky enough to get their picture taken with Johnny's #23
 Toyota Tundra

It was a hot day at the races for Paulette and Klaus Price of Florida who brought their son to Milwaukee.

One of the highlights of the weekend was to visit  with Judy Benson.
